Breitling introduced the Chronomat B01 42 Japan Edition, the first to feature a white mother-of-pearl dial on the Chronomat, which was developed in 1983 for the Italian Air Force Frecce Tricolori. In addition, from the “Super Chronomat Series”, a rare model “Super Chronomat B01 44 Japan Limited” with a red gold case has been released.

Featuring a 42mm case with non-curved lugs, an iconic bezel with four rider tabs, and a distinctive Rouleau belt, the Chronomat is an important part of the brand’s history. The third Japan limited edition model based on the “Chronomat B01 42”, which is a lineage, uses white mother-of-pearl.
The mother-of-pearl dial, which has always been very popular in Japan due to its unique beauty, is an elegant coloring that perfectly harmonizes the beautiful shining white that is perfect for the winter season and the anthracite sub-dial. The golden Breitling logo shines as an accent there.
The movement, which can be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback, is equipped with the COSC certified chronometer “Manufacture Calibre 01”, which is the highest certification standard for precision and reliability. It is a timepiece that is not only beautiful, but also functional.
The bolder and sportier Super Chronomat is the first in the collection to feature a ceramic-inset stainless steel bezel in the Super Chronomat B01 44 Japan Limited, a 44mm case in 18K red gold. The polished finish stands out in the delicate matte finish, and it is characterized by a restrained gorgeousness.
Ceramic inserts are also used for the push-buttons and crown, a rubber strap inspired by the iconic Rouleau bracelet and a special edition of the “Manufacture Calibre 01” rotor seen on the caseback in gold.
Combining the timeless charm of gold with the abrasion resistance of ceramic, this work is limited to 25 pieces. The price is 3,718,000 yen.
