Breitling, one of Switzerland’s leading watch brands, has announced a limited edition model in Japan to commemorate the brand’s 140th anniversary and the 40th anniversary of the birth of Chronomat. Only 50 bottles were produced and started to be sold.

This year marks the 140th anniversary of Breitling’s founding in 1884 and the 40th anniversary of the introduction of the Chronomat collection, which occupies an important place in the brand’s history, and a limited edition model in Japan has been introduced to celebrate the double anniversary.
Released in ’84, when ultra-thin quartz watches were flourishing, the Chronomat was designed for the Italy aerobatic team “Frecce Tricolori” and brought mechanical chronographs back to an important position. After being remodeled several times, it has a history of evolving into a versatile watch that can be used in all situations.
This Japan limited edition model is based on the Super Chronomat series with a case diameter of 44 mm and features a chic ice gray mother-of-pearl dial. The iconic bezel with four rider tabs is set with 112 Buri Liant diamonds. Due to its unique beauty, the mother-of-pearl dial, which has always been very popular in Japan, and the bezel with diamonds are in perfect harmony, making it a Japan limited edition model suitable for the anniversary.
It is powered by the COSC-certified Manufacture Calibre 01 chronometer, the highest certification standard for precision and reliability, and its beautiful appearance can be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback, and the caseback is engraved with “ONE OF 50”, and only 50 pieces of this model were produced. Prove that it is a rare and limited model. The price is 2,310,000 yen.
