Seiko has revived “King Seiko”, which led the development of domestic mechanical watches in the 1960s together with “Grand Seiko”, as a regular model, and announced five models inspired by the second generation King Seiko “KSK”.
King Seiko, announced in 1961, has a history of adopting advanced designs and installing new technologies such as high beats while maintaining a reasonable price.
The second generation King Seiko KSK was inspired by the design of King Seiko’s regular model revival, and features features such as a thick lug, case shape, and three-dimensional index with multi-faceted cuts in a compact size close to the original. Inheriting it, the design embodies the concept of “The Newest Classic”. The King Seiko shield motif has also been revived and is engraved on the caseback and crown. In addition, a new multi-row bracelet that is a homage to King Seiko after KSK is combined.
The silver model has a dial color that reproduces KSK, and the metallic gray has a vertical hairline pattern to make a difference. The charcoal gray, brown and red dials have a sunray finish.

Prospex Save the Ocean
Seiko has added three types of Save the Ocean models to the “Seiko Prospex” that incorporate the glaciers that spread to the extreme into the design.
The Seiko Divers have been donated four times as equipment for the “Antarctic Research Expedition” since 1966, and the history of the explorer Naomi Uemura’s use of the so-called “1970 Divers” for crossing a dog sled in the Arctic Circle.
