On November 21, 2023, Audi Japan added the Q8 50 TDI Quattro and Q8 50 TDI Quattro S Line with diesel engines to the Q8 large-size SUV. At the same time, a special edition “Bronze Edition” was available, which went on sale on the same day.

The Q8 is the top-of-the-line model in Audi’s SUV lineup, making it a “coupe-style SUV model” with a gently sloping roofline.
The Q8 50 TDI Quattro and Q8 50 TDI Quattro S Line are equipped with a 3-liter V6 diesel turbo engine that produces 272 PS and 600 Nm of torque, and the Quattro full-time four-wheel drive system. The fuel consumption is said to be 11.5km/liter in WLTC mode.

It features special coordination and a full range of equipment
The Q8 Bronze Edition, which was released at the same time, is a special limited edition of 125 units to commemorate the introduction of the TDI model in Japan. It is based on the Q8 50 TDI quattro S Line, which features the “Suzuka Gray Metallic” body color named after the circuit in Japan and 22-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels with matte bronze polish. The interior features sports seats with the “S” logo in Balcona leather and decorative panels in oak grey.
In addition, the “Comfort Assistance Package” and “Black Audi rings & Black Styling Package”, which are usually treated as options, are adopted as standard. The former includes advanced driver assistance systems, HD matrix LED headlights with adaptive high beam and all-wheel steering. On the other hand, the latter is a set of black four silver rings, various exterior parts, exterior mirror housings, etc., and is said to emphasize strength and fearlessness with an image based on black.
Other standard features include power-closing doors, LED rear dynamic turn indicators, and door entry lights that project the “S” logo.
The price is 13.65 million yen.
