Lacquer with the brilliance of beautiful shells
Pearl work is a beautiful decoration method in which the shining part of the inside of the shell is thinly processed and scattered on the surface of the lacquer. It is a representative traditional craft of Japan brought from China in the Nara period, developed in the Heian period, and passed down to the present day.
Collaboration with traditional craftsmen
“Traditional craftsman” is a title given only to engineers who possess advanced techniques and techniques from among the engineers engaged in the manufacture of traditional crafts.
This model was realized in collaboration with Shinichi Otake, a traditional craftsman whose style makes use of his high technical skills and original sense.

Limited model with traditional brilliance
The “Seven Colors 2023 LIMITED MODEL” allows you to enjoy the colors and brilliance of traditional spirals. The spiral work made from seawater shells, which are the mother shells of black pearls, shines in seven colors such as pink and green to create a gorgeous and unique wrist. It is a limited quantity model only for 2023.
In addition, the serial number is laser engraved on the 6 o’clock crotch of the same model. The brand’s unique layout, which allows you to rearrange the watch and strap and enjoy customization, complements the limited specifications.
A regular model with a modern twist on tradition
The “Sumiiro REGULAR MODEL” is a traditional furan arranged so that it is easy to use on a daily basis without being too glittering. The simple color of the freshwater shell is suppressed to a chic color by an original technique of suppressing the saturation by applying an ultra-thin layer of lacquer. It is a new frontier that sublimates tradition into modernity.
