Hublot’s flagship collection, the Big Bang, is now available in the Japan limited edition Big Bang Unico Carbon Sky Blue (3,443,000 yen). This timepiece is a unique pattern woven with refreshing sky blue and black.

The Big Bang Unico is equipped with Hublot’s iconic Big Bang movement developed and manufactured in-house.
The popular model, which has now become the flagship of the brand, embodies the brand’s concept of “art of fusion” and is available in a variety of materials, including proprietary 18K magic gold and ceramic.
The Japan limited edition model that appeared this time uses light and durable carbon fiber for the bezel and case. When you think of carbon, you may imagine a well-formed folded pattern, but in this work, it is made by adding a sky blue composite to carbon fiber, creating a unique pattern with bright sky blue scattered on carbon.
Created using the same technique as the Big Bang Unico Carbon White that appeared in 2022, this pattern occurs naturally during the material creation process, so no two patterns are the same. The special feeling of being unique stimulates possessiveness.
For the bezel and case, the prototype is completed by using a nonwoven fabric (NWF) formed of microfiber, permeated with carbon fiber using epoxy resin, and placed in a special mold. During the production process, a characteristic pattern of a complex mixture of sky blue and black appears.

In contrast to the unique marble color of the bezel and case, the see-through dial with the “Unico” of the movement peeking out is unified in black for the index, in-dial, and hands. By contrasting with black, the refreshing sky blue stands out more.
In addition, the sporty rubber strap with lines is based on the same sky blue as the bezel and case.
Although it is composed of two colors, sky blue and black, the dial is black, the strap is sky blue, and the bezel and case are marble in two colors, and by changing the shade in an exquisite balance for each part, the contrast is beautiful, and it has a unique presence that combines glamour and sporty expression.
In addition to the rubber strap, the strap comes with a black Velcro strap, and the one-click system that can be easily replaced allows you to easily change the strap according to your mood and clothes.
