Breitling, a Swiss watch brand born in 1884, is releasing commemorative models throughout the year in 2024, the 140th anniversary of its founding. As the latest work, one of Breitling’s iconic timepiece collections, the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 Japan Edition, is now available as a commemorative model limited to Japan.
The Navitimer was originally developed in 1952 as an instrumental chronograph in which aircraft pilots perform the necessary calculations. It was also the design of the official timepiece of the International Association of Owners and Pilots (AOPA), and has been refined into a modern design on the occasion of its 70th anniversary.
