Breitling’s legendary Navitimer timepiece has been reimagined to celebrate its 70th anniversary. While inheriting the iconic design that can be recognized at a glance as a Navitimer even from a distance, this new collection adds modern sophistication. The original AOPA (International Association of Owner-Pilots) wing logo has been reverted to its former 12 o’clock position, and a flattened rotating slide rule and domed crystal give it a slimmer appearance.
This is a gold case model based on the small 41mm diameter Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41. The crown, push buttons, case and buckle are made of 18-carat red gold, while the black dial is adorned with gold-coloured logos, indexes and various hands. The strap comes with a semi-shiny alligator strap, also in black. In addition, this special timepiece is equipped with the Manufacture Calibre 01, a COSC-certified chronometer, which is the highest certification standard for precision and reliability. You can peek through the sapphire crystal caseback to see its beautiful movement. Made exclusively for Japan, this rare model is limited to only 50 pieces.
