Announcing only 50 commemorative models!
BYD Japan, BYD’s Japan subsidiary, has launched a special limited edition of 50 units of the BYD ATTO 3 Black Style nationwide on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, to commemorate the company’s third anniversary. This model is the second in a special edition and follows the “BYD DOLPHIN Grateful PINK” that appeared in June.

The BYD ATTO 3 is a million-selling model with cumulative global sales of over 1 million units, and since its launch in January 2023 in Japan, it has gained high popularity for its affordable size and full range of equipment.
The special limited edition “Black Style” features a number of exclusive parts with a gloss black finish on the exterior, emphasizing a more urban and cool look in addition to the existing sporty style.
Special features include the BYD emblem on the front and rear, a complete set of emblems, including a black version of the ATTO 3 and EV logos, as well as fog lamp trim covers, base plates for the emblem, and black trim above the left and right headlights. In addition, as a convenient equipment, it is equipped with a storage box under the front bonnet, an ETC on-board unit, and a drive recorder.
The ATTO 3 Black Style is a commemorative model that symbolizes the BYD brand’s strong presence in the Japan market, and is positioned as one that combines a sophisticated appearance with functionality for everyday use.
Two body colors, ski white and boulder gray, will be available, and the vehicle price including tax will be 4,246,000 yen for the front car and 4,180,000 yen for the rear car.
