On March 15, CARTIER will release a Japan limited edition model of the Tank Française watch. It is quartz and made of stainless steel. The case diameter is 32×27mm and the price is 726,000 yen.
The brand says, “The minimalist and monochrome dial is inspired by Japan’s traditional culture of simplicity, and the silver indexes are arranged to blend in with the form of the dial, changing the expression depending on the amount of light. The crown is decorated with moonstone.”
Cartier released the original model of the Tank Française in 1996. It was renewed in January 2023. 24 years marks the 50th anniversary of the brand’s first store opening in Japan, and to coincide with this, a Japan-only model of the Iconwatch will be released in Japan.
