On June 15, 2023, Citizen Watch will release a limited number of four models of the “Citizen Collection RECORD LABEL Thermosensor” wristwatch, a collaboration model of the “Star Wars” movie.
From May 4, reservations have been accepted at various stores such as online shopping.
The retro-futuristic atmosphere of the base model matches the “Star Wars” universe
4 models available
It is based on a model that appeared in 1982 and reproduced the design of the world’s first analog and digital combination watch with a temperature measurement function. The lineup includes a total of four types designed with mecha that appear in the same work.
Each motif is engraved on the back cover and enclosed in a special box limited to Japan. It comes with a card printed with each character.
The “R2-D2” model “JG2121-54A” is based on blue and white coloring, with an image of a lens on the analog display and a silhouette of the head in the upper right.
The “C-3PO” model “JG2123-59E” has a distinctive gold coloring, the analog display depicts the wiring of the fuselage, and the center is decorated with concentric circles of the abdomen and a three-pronged emblem on the back of the head.
The above two models are limited to 300 pieces.
The “X-wing Starfighter” model “JG2131-51H” uses weathering techniques to reproduce the “faintness” of red lines and the atmosphere of use. The analog display is marked with a five-line marking “RED5” indicating the boarding aircraft of “Luke Skywalker”.
The JG2146-53H model of the Millennium Falcon features a line drawing of the expected silhouette on the entire dial, an image of the aircraft projected on the control panel, and the trajectory of the stars during hyperdrive in the upper right.
The above two models are limited to 200 pieces.
Both are priced at 44,000 yen (tax included).
