British footwear brand Dr. Martens will launch a white-stitched collection based on the brand’s iconic products on Friday, July 19, 2024. Starting with 2 types limited to Japan and 1 type limited to Asia, a total of 6 types are available as a collection. The key visual will be rapper IO, and the campaign will start nationwide.
The monochrome boots with white stitching are deeply rooted in the tradition of Dr. Martens. The collection includes the universal icons 1460 8-hole boots, 1461 3-hole boots, 2976 Chelsea boots, and two special types exclusive to Japan.
The 1460 ZIP WS builds on the original icons and has been updated with side zips and hiker-style trim. The upper is made of smooth smooth leather and is white with welt stitching, zipper pulls and trim. The heel loop is also finished in a monotone black × white.
Combining Dr. Martens’ iconic 8-hole boots with a thick-soled sole, “JADON” has been around for 11 years and features a voluminous silhouette. The inside of the boots has a side zip, making it easy to put on and take off. The upper is made of glossy polished smooth leather. A gem with white welt stitching and a black × white monotone heel loop.
The Asia-only “POLLEY T-BAR Shoes”, which are reprinted as a model of the classic Mary Jane born in the 50s, are a shoe silhouette that continues to be loved as an indispensable product in pop culture, while being popular in the school shoes and casual scenes of British students at the time. Equipped with a tread BEX outsole, it can be modified as a high-fashion item. The simple silhouette is retained, but the upper is made of smooth smooth leather. The white welt stitching and adjustment strap feature brushed silver hardware.
