Swiss luxury watch brand EDOX will release a limited edition Japan edition of the Chrono Offshore 1 Chronograph at authorized retailers nationwide and its official online store from June 1, 2023 (Thursday).
Special edition dial with black mother-of-pearl and diamond indexes
The EDOX Chrono Offshore 1 is a highly functional and waterproof diver’s watch that projects the powerful world view of the “offshore class”, the highest level of powerboat racing that reaches 200 km / h, also known as the F1 of the sea.
The limited edition edition Chrono Offshore 1 Chronograph Japan a special edition with a black mother-of-pearl dial and five diamonds set in the index champion number “1”.
Two types are available: a rubber strap model (limited to 100 pieces) and a stainless-steel bracelet model (limited to 100 pieces).
The special case structure and screw-down crown make it highly waterproof (500 m/50 bar). In addition, it is equipped as standard with an auto helium escape valve (a valve that automatically discharges helium gas that has entered the watch case in the process of depressurization during saturation diving), which is indispensable for full-scale divers’ specifications.
The unidirectional rotating bezel is made of high-tech ceramic. With the same high hardness as sapphire (Mohs hardness of 9), it is excellent in resistance to scratches, protects against corrosion and deformation, and also keeps the watch shiny and beautiful appearance.
In addition, the four screws that secure the bezel are designed with an hourglass with the brand emblem.
The windshield with a non-reflective coating is made of high-hardness sapphire crystal with excellent scratch resistance. In order to maintain clear visibility from all angles, it has a high-grade finish that flattens the surface.
On the outer circumference of the dial is a tachymeter scale that can calculate the average speed in conjunction with the chronograph hands.
