The service was launched in the United States in 2016 and has become a hot topic as a service that allows users to design original musical instruments to their liking. In 2022, it was launched in the UK and Germany, with more than 5,500 models shipped worldwide.
This service coveted by musical instrument users has finally landed on Japan this time. In addition to the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, and Jaguar, the American Acoustasonic series Stratocaster, Telecaster, and Jazzmaster can also be customized. The base products included the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass.
The service offers a wide variety of colors, from bubblegum metallic, which is not found in regular models, to the classic cigarette burst, as well as the type of wood used for the body and fingerboard, neck shape, pickups, tuning machines, pickguards, and other parts to suit your preferences. More than 70,000 variations can be created by combining these methods.
All guitars and basses designed online are made at the Corona factory in California, USA, and after being inspected according to the company’s standards, they are delivered to your hands in about 8 to 10 weeks. In addition, there was a function to share the designed guitar on social media and a function to display the virtual guitar in the living room of home using AR (only available on mobile devices).
