Japan limited edition of 50 units announced
General Motors announced that production of the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro, which has a history of more than half a century, will end in January 2024.
The limited edition Chevrolet Camaro Final Edition, which marks the final chapter, will go on sale on October 5 at Chevrolet authorized dealer networks nationwide. It is a special model based on the “Camaro SS” limited to 50 units in Japan, and the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (tax included) is 9.4 million yen. In addition, the final model of the sixth generation of the “Chevrolet Camaro SS” will be released at the same time with some specifications and prices revised. The “Final Edition” is equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine, boasts a powerful front mask and overflowing power, and is available in two body colors, white and black. The interior is unified in rugged jet black, and the front seats use Recaro performance bucket seats. As a special one, it is equipped with a plate for limited cars under the steering wheel and the upper left side of the passenger glove box, and the floor mat is also exclusive to limited cars. The limited edition of 50 units is 30 black and 20 white, and delivery is scheduled to start in December 2023.
This model is a “limited edition Japan” model, which is different from the “Collector’s Edition” for North America announced in Japan.
