SWISS LUXURY MECHANICAL WATCH BRAND FRANCK MULLER IS LAUNCHING THE #FR2NCK MULLER VANGUARD IN COLLABORATION WITH TOKYO-BASED STREETWEAR BRAND #FR2.

The unique spirit of the two brands resonated and resulted in the first collaboration. The #FR2NCK MULLER VANGUARD is a #FR2の独特のデザインを採用しています to Franck Muller’s iconic Vanguard watch. In the tonneau-shaped case and three-dimensional indexes, which pursue the ultimate beauty of objects woven by straight lines and curves, the rabbit motif born from #FR2’s free ideas is arranged, resulting in an edgy watch that captures the essence of street fashion.

The #FR2NCK MULLER VANGUARD combines elements from two different disciplines: Swiss mechanical watches and Japan street fashion, with the creator’s signature touches. Franck Muller’s timeless yet avant-garde aesthetic is evident in the matte white dial with black skeletonized hands, hour markers and three-dimensional applied indexes. Bringing a delightful personality to the black and white look is the motif at the 7 o’clock position. Franck Muller placed the provocative Fxxking Rabbits motif of the #FR2 in place of the indexes, making the rabbit’s red eyes the only color spot on the dial. The hands, hour markers and graphic motifs were partially coated with Super-LumiNova, which was conceived as if they would pop out of the dial in the dark.

The case is made of a material that combines carbon and fiberglass. To create a light and strong material, carbon powder and glass fiber are combined, which is impregnated with binding resin. It is baked at 150 degrees Celsius for 3 hours and produced under pressure of 200 tons. By randomly mixing and pressing different materials, each watch case has its own unique stripes. In keeping with the distinctive case and dial design, the strap is fitted with a white nylon strap with typography-style text designed in black color, familiar to lovers of street fashion.

FRANCK MULLER was born in 1958 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, famous for its watch industry. Fascinated by watches and how they work, he discovered watchmaking at an early age and developed a talent for it. At the Geneva Watch School, he earned credits in just one year that he should have taken in three years, and was awarded numerous awards of excellence, including the highest award, and in 1983, he drew up the dreamlike concept of equipping a wristwatch with complex functions that had previously been installed only in pocket watches, and since then, he has not only made more than 30 world’s first ultra-complex watches, including tourbillons. We have continued to publish a number of new patents. In 1992, Franck Muller founded his own company. Timepieces that combine beauty and sleek form created by exceptional technology have attracted many people, including watch lovers.
#FR2について
#FR2, also known as Fxxking Rabbits, is the brainchild of Japan street fashion leader Ryo Ishikawa, best known for founding the fashion imprint Vanquish. Since its inception in 2014, #FR2 has quickly captivated fans with its signature bunny, “Smoking Kills” motifs, and bold photographic prints of its products. Along the way, Ishikawa also set the brand apart with provocative campaign images (which he personally photographed) and an ironic approach to fashion. They offer a variety of apparel and decorations, from hoodies to disposable cameras that hand out sweets.
