French rainwear brand K-WAY will open a pop-up store at the Isetan Shinjuku main store (Isetan Leaf, 1st floor of the main building) from February 1 to 6.
The highlight is the pre-sale of “Remake 1975”. It is a reprint of three models from the brand’s best-selling series “Le Bré” released around 1975, and will be released only Japan.
The fabric is a classic plain weave nylon with water repellency and uses the logo of the time. On the other hand, the sizing was leisurely “expressing a sense of modernity” (“Keiwei”). It also features a packable specification that can be folded compactly.
“Keiwei” was founded in Paris in 65. In its home country, it is a brand so rooted in people’s lives that it is described as “Keiwei = rain gou” in the dictionary, and it is also known for its vivid color development.
