《Product Features》
A dial in the shape of a chrysanthemum pattern that has been loved since the Edo period and was the center of horticultural culture
This limited-edition model is inspired by the horticultural culture of Edo, which is similar to King Seiko’s manufacturing that was born in Kameido, Tokyo, and uses the chrysanthemum, a flower loved in Tokyo since the Edo period and a representative flower of the Japan, as the motif of the dial design. The pattern with finely crossed cutting lines is called “Kikutsunagi Mon” and is a traditional pattern that requires the most advanced skills among Edo kiriko. Based on this pattern, a beautiful white chrysanthemum is expressed with a white stamped dial.
Equipped with a thin automatic movement
The movement is equipped with the Calibre 6L35, the thinnest automatic movement in Seiko’s current model, and by improving the case structure and windshield, it is 0.2 mm thinner than the original model of the second-generation King Seiko “KSK”.
Sharp design resonates with dials and cases
The glass and case edges are painstakingly finished to make them stand out, further enhancing KSK’s signature linear, edged case design. The dial uses an imposing thick and long three-sided cut hour and minute hand that shines in response to the three-dimensional indexes. It also comes with a light gray leather strap that blends in with the dial.
《Product Features》
Adopts a bracelet that can be easily attached and detached so that you can easily enjoy combining it with a leather strap
King Seiko, which has a rich lineup of exclusive leather straps, has three models that can be easily attached and removed from the metal bracelet. Adopts a simple attachment and detachment lever with a double lever type to prevent excessive rotation of the end piece
Have. It is a bracelet that combines luxury, ease of putting on and taking off, and a fit on the arm. Combined with 10 types of leather straps, which are sold separately, it can be worn in various scenes. In addition, the U-shaped mating part* creates a dynamic impression and smoothly connects the case and bracelet with little gap.
* Fitting part: The part where the case and bracelet come into contact
Earth-toned dial inspired by the 1960s~70s
There are three dial colors: charcoal black, indigo blue, and the new olive green. Inspired by the fashion of the 1960s ~ 70s, when King Seiko led the evolution of domestic mechanical watches, earth tones are adopted. The surface of the dial has a longitudinal hairline finish, and when combined with earth tones, it expresses a taste that seems to have changed over time. In keeping with the dial design, the hour, minute, and indexes also feature an aging color Lumibrite, so the Lumibrite harmonizes with the dial and is legible day and night.
The Calibre 6R55 mechanical movement in these three models has a compact automatic winding mechanism and a long power reserve of three days (approximately 72 hours). In addition, it has a date display to suit various lifestyles.
