The 55th anniversary limited model of “44GS” expresses the natural beauty peculiar to Japan called “Sakurakakushi”, which refers to the appearance of snow covering the cherry blossoms. “Sakurakakushi” is a seasonal word used in the Tohoku region, where “Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi”, which manufactures mechanical models of Grand Seiko, is based.
