Hublot has unveiled the new edition of its iconic Big Bang collection, the Big Bang Unico Carbon Sky Blue, a limited edition Japan with a unique pattern that mixes black and sky blue. This product is a color variation model of the “Big Bang Unico Carbon White” released in 2022, and only 100 pieces will be sold in a limited edition.
A one-of-a-kind contrast in the Japan-only Big Bang
One of Hublot’s signature collections, the Big Bang Unico, is a flagship collection that combines avant-garde design with the Unico chronograph movement. The design concept of the lineup is truly free, and it is also known for being very ambitious for unique challenges.
This time, the Japan limited edition of the Big Bang Unico is a unique carbon case model, which is colored chaotically in sky blue and the brand’s iconic black.
Hublot Big Bang Unico Carbon Sky Blue
Automatic winding (Cal.HUB1280). 43 stone. 28,800 vibrations per hour. Power reserve about 72 hours. Carbon case (diameter 44 mm). Water resistant to 10 ATM. Limited Japan 100 pieces. 3,443,000 yen (tax included).
The combination of these two colors is the first attempt in the series, but this game succeeds in creating a sporty and glamorous presence by fusing the intense contrast they create with the many iconic elements of the Big Bang. The fusion that takes advantage of each of these characteristics is the embodiment of Hublot’s brand concept of “Art of Fusion”.
The carbon fiber material used in the case and bezel is produced by impregnating microfiber non-woven fabric (NWF) and carbon fiber with epoxy resin. In this work, by adding a sky blue composite to it, a unique pattern was expressed that seemed to be an uneven mixture of two colors.
The chaotic pattern of sky blue is unique and spontaneous in the process of material generation. Since each one looks different, no one has the same pattern among the 100 limited edition pieces.
The skeleton dial is unified in black color, and the chic face that stands out with the refreshing sky blue is impressive. The Unico (HUB1280 calibre) movement has a power reserve of about 72 hours and a flyback chronograph function, allowing you to enjoy its exquisite construction from both sides of the case.
The game comes with a sky-blue rubber belt trimmed in black and a black Velcro strap for replacement. Since it uses a one-click system that makes it easy to put on and take off the belt, you can enjoy changing it according to the mood of the day.
