On April 9, 2025, Jaguar Land Rover Japan unveiled the Defender 110 URBAN BEAT EDITION, a special edition of the Defender cross-country model exclusively for Japan, and began accepting orders on the same day.
The “Defender 110 Urban Beat Edition” is introduced as “a model that commemorates the Defender opening up a new path with music.”

The special badge is described as “a design that expresses the driver’s elation with sparkling particles that mimic an equalizer and symbolizes the connection between the defender and music.”

The Defender brand participates as an official supporter of FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’25, one of the largest outdoor music festivals in Japan, and is an official vehicle partner of the Glastonbury Festival, one of the world’s largest music events, for two consecutive years.
The Defender 110 Urban Beat Edition was introduced as “a model that commemorates the Defender opening up new paths with music,” and a special logo mark has been developed that combines the urban cityscape seen while listening to music with the motif of sound particles. The tail door badge and the Cross Car Beam End Cap badge are combined to form the “URBAN BEAT EDITION Badge Pack”.
It is based on the Defender 110 X-DYNAMIC HSE D350. It uses a “MERIDIAN surround sound system” consisting of a total of 15 speakers, including a subwoofer, and is available in two exterior colors, “Santorini Black” and “Carpathian Gray”.
As for the interior, the model with the Santorini black exterior color can be selected from “Ebony Windsor Leather Seats (Ebony Interior)” or “Caraway Windsor Leather Seats (Caraway/Ebony Interior)”. The former will be limited to 120 units, while the latter will sell 30 units. The Carpathian gray exterior color of the model is combined with Ebony Windsor leather seats (ebony interior), and this will be sold in a limited number of 50 units.
Another feature of the model is that it comes standard with popular optional items such as the ClearSight Interior Rearview Mirror, Air Suspension Pack, Extended Black Exterior Pack, Private Glass, Cold Climate Pack, and 22-inch Style 5098″ (gloss black finish) wheels.
The price is 11.99 million yen.
