Celebrating its 120th anniversary, the watch brand “ORIS” has announced a new product, “ProPILOT X Year of the Snake”, to celebrate the coming Year of the Snake. A limited edition of 88 pieces will be released in December 2024.

Oris’ latest product, the ProPILOT X Year of the Snake, is based on the innovative ProPILOT X Calibre 115 wristwatch, and is a limited edition model that expresses two images in color: the snake, which is said to be a symbol of wisdom, wealth and agility, and the Kinoto, which represents plants and trees.
It features a skeleton frame with a bright cyan color and a combination of an all-titanium case and bracelet, giving it a modern frame design and an elegant and energetic impression of cyan color. It is also equipped with a non-linear power reserve indicator patented by Oris. The needle is arranged in gold, which is different from the usual, with the image of a snake’s tongue, adding individuality.
At the heart is the hand-wound movement “Cal. Oris 115” (developed in-house by Oris), which boasts a long power reserve of about 10 days. In addition to the “Year of the Snake” engraved on the back pig with a see-through back, a number that proves a limited edition of 88 pieces is also included, giving it a detail unique to the commemorative model. The price is 1,397,000 yen.
