Offdian Hour Red Gold Sonora Sunrise
The word “offdian” in “offidian hour” means snake in English. Featuring a snake sculpture with a striking glossy enamel decoration, this new work is the first model without needles. Two disks displaying the numbers of the hour and minute rotate, with the head of the snake indicating the hour and the tip of the tail indicating the minute.

The snake is carved from five blocks of white gold and assembled seamlessly to create a lively shape with supple curves. The multifaceted sculpture with complex curves, which was considered difficult to process with enamel using powder-like materials, was evenly colored by hand by craftsmen with outstanding skills.
One of the new models is a snake in a gradient color that changes from light green to dark green, and a mother-of-pearl dial with a bamboo design with engraving and miniature painting.
The other is a model of a dial with a snake pattern alternating between blood red and green, and a marbled ore Sonora Sunrise cut out to a thickness of only 0.8 mm.
The snake was designed by John Howe, the illustrator and conceptual artist of The Lord of the Rings. With the motif of “Ruyi”, a word of Chinese origin that symbolizes protection and good luck, the S-shaped image was incorporated into the design of the snake.
Both use green rubber belts. It uses a silicon spring and is equipped with a movement with a power reserve of about 68 hours.
