Patek Philippe
Selected from the museum
Historic timepieces are a must-see
The last independent family-owned manufacture in Geneva, Patek Philippe was founded in 1839. Since then, the two founders, Antoine Norbert de Patek and Jean-Adrien Philippe, have adhered to the philosophy of “making the world’s best watches.” By achieving unparalleled quality, reliability and rarity, the company always aims to make the timepiece special for its owner worthy of passing it down from generation to generation.
For the past 10 years, Patek Philippe has been offering a grand exhibition open to the public with a new concept to deepen understanding of its creation, heritage, philosophy and extensive expertise. Dubai (2012), Munich (2013), London (2015), New York (2017) and Singapore (2019) attracted a total of around 165,000 visitors over the past five events. From June 10 of this year, the sixth “Watch Art Grand Exhibition” will be held in Tokyo.
The current model “Ref. 6301P-001” will be exhibited in the Master of Sound Room. Produced in 2020.

There will also be demonstrations by watchmakers and artisans to deepen understanding of all the techniques involved in haute horlogerie and decoration, passed down from generation to generation. It will also feature limited edition watches created specifically for the exhibition and rare collections inspired by the Japan’s artistic and cultural heritage.
