“Seiko Presage Sharp Edged Series 13th Danjuro Ichikawa Succession Commemorative Limited Model” is a model that reflects the thoughts of Ebizo Ichikawa, who continues to challenge in the Kabuki world, in the Sharp Edged Series, which features traditional Japanese motifs and colors. . The “hemp leaf pattern” that is characteristic of the Sharp Edged Series is often used in Kabuki costumes, and the dial color “kaki color” is a traditional Japanese color that was born from the Ichikawa family’s performance. This dial color uses a gradation to create a denser hue on the outside.
The hands and indexes are gold-colored, which enhances visibility in contrast to the dial. The case has a black color and a modern impression. In addition, the front side of the strap is black and the back side is a persimmon color, expressing the “ura win” that decorates the back side of the kimono, creating a stylish look of the Edo period.
