Platinum Pen will release a limited number of special limited edition “# 3776 Century Decade” from July 1st to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the birth of “# 3776 Century”, which prevents ink from drying out. The tax-included price is 44,000 yen.
The fountain pen “# 3776” was released in 1978. The name # 3776 comes from aiming for the highest fountain pen in Japan, named after the altitude of Mt. Fuji. In 2011, 33 years later, we developed and released the # 3776 Century, which is equipped with a “slip seal mechanism” that prevents ink from drying out.
The # 3776 Century Decade to be released this time is equipped with a slip seal mechanism that prevents ink from drying for about two years, and a special design for the commemorative model is engraved on the newly designed 14-karat gold nib. The shaft and cap are made with gathers, which is a symbol of the original # 3776. A top (top decoration) that is close to flat, called the best type, is used and the 10th anniversary logo is printed. The cap ring has a sculpted finish with distinctive shadows.
Limited to 3776 pieces worldwide, the tail decoration is engraved with a serial number. As a special accessory, 20 ml of 10th anniversary special toning ink “Fuji Navy Blue” is also available.
