The Roadmaster series, which is named “Roadmaster” for ball watches that develop and are in charge of railway infrastructure, landed in Japan in 2020.
The year after the first launch of the Loadmaster Marine GMT, the Loadmaster Pilot GMT was released in succession, and its sophisticated design and functionality have been supported and its popularity has increased.
This time, the “Roadmaster Pilot GMT” was announced as a limited edition model Japan(limited to 100 pieces) that combines the “Black Mother-of-Pearl” dial with the “Black Mother-of-Pearl” dial. The dial made of natural materials that attracts various expressions depending on the viewing angle and the amount of light gives the owner a unique and special feeling that does not have the same pattern.
The ceramic bezel, which rotates in both directions, is two-tone black × blue. The cool bezel colour and the elegantly sparkling black MOP dial perfectly match to create a sporty and intelligent vibe.
The 40 mm titanium case with satin finish and the combination bracelet of titanium and stainless steel, a rare one-piece design for ball watches, are also unique to the Roadmaster Pilot GMT.

The dial is equipped with GMT hands with a skeleton design that uses the same blue color as the bezel. In combination with the 24-hour bezel and inner ring, it is possible to display the time of three cities at the same time.
Another feature of the Loadmaster Pilot GMT is the “quick setting function” that allows you to adjust the time by two push buttons on the left side of the case. The upper button can be used for plus 1 hour, the lower button for minus 1 hour, and only the hour hand can be moved in 1-hour increments, so you can smoothly set the time at your destination. The two buttons can be locked by twisting them 60 degrees, so there is no need to worry about malfunctions.
By the way, the “Loadmaster Marine GMT” has a similar quick setting function, except that the Marine GMT adjusts the GMT hand and the pilot GMT adjusts the hour hand.
The calendar display is also different from the Marine GMT, and although the Pilot GMT does not have a day of the week display, the date display is equipped with a cyclop lens to make it easier to see the date.
In addition, in terms of specifications, it has a full-scale water resistance of 300m and high impact resistance of 5000Gs (an impact test equivalent to the impact received when dropped on a wooden floor in free fall from a height of 1m). It is also certified by the Swiss C.O.S.C. certified chronometer for high precision, and you can watch the movement in action from the see-through caseback.
Combining the tough and sporty Roadmaster Pilot GMT with elegant values, a limited Japan edition edition model with a black MOP dial will be available in August.
