“Citizen Collection” Record Label Thermo Sensor Star Wars Limited Edition
Limited edition of 4 models to be released on June 15, 2023
The “Thermo Sensor”, which appeared in 1982, is the world’s first combination watch equipped with a temperature measurement function, and is a combination of analog and digital. At that time, its futuristic design received tremendous support from the younger generation. Based on the “Citizen Collection” record label thermo sensor, which reproduces the design of this “thermo sensor”, four models will be available in limited quantities: the popular droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, the X-wing starfighter fighter, and the Millennium Falcon spaceship. The back lid is engraved with each motif, and there is also a special box limited to Japan and a card printed with each character.
Pre-orders open on May 4, Star Wars Day, where fans around the world celebrate Star Wars culture and enjoy the film.
“Citizen Collection” RECORD LABEL is a line that proposes a new way to enjoy watches by collecting models with Citizen’s individuality. The text on the function display of the dial is all unified in a futuristic typeface with the image of a droid.

Based on the iconic gold livery, the analog display depicts the visible wiring on the fuselage, and the concentric circles of the belly and the three-pronged emblem on the back of the head are designed in the center. In addition, the embossing that borders the head of the C-3PO is drawn on the outer circumference of the dial.
