Theme is the spirit of Bushido: Lamborghini Japan announces the limited edition model ‘Reverto Impavid’ for its 25th anniversary | AUTOCAR JAPAN

On July 22, Lamborghini announced the limited edition model ‘Lamborghini Reverto Impavid’ to commemorate Lamborghini Japan’s 25th anniversary.

This model was based on Lamborghini’s first V12 hybrid model, the ‘Revuelto,’ with only 25 units produced, each assigned a unique serial number.

The model name ‘Impavido’ means ‘fearless’ or ‘brave’ in Italian, and through bespoke craftsmanship inspired by the Japanese Bushido spirit that values courage and discipline, it celebrates the long-standing relationship between Lamborghini and Japan.

Stefan Winkelmann, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, stated, “‘Revuelto Impavid’ embodies Lamborghini’s power to fuse innovation and cultural inspiration,” positioning it as a model symbolizing the long-standing relationship with Japan.

He also said, “Through collaborations like this, Lamborghini continues to stay true to the values that form the core of the brand while pushing the boundaries of personalization.”

An exterior reinterpreting samurai armor

The limited edition ‘Revuelto Impavid’ is a bespoke version crafted by Lamborghini’s personalization program, ‘Ad Personam.’

Its exterior is a reinterpretation of elements found in samurai armor using Lamborghini’s design language.

The sharp line extending from the door to the rear bumper evokes the sword’s ‘tachisuji,’ expressing precision and controlled force.

Additionally, the gold accents placed throughout the body are inspired by the ‘odoshi’ (closed door) used to tie armor kozane, and were incorporated as symbols of identity and lineage.

Furthermore, the front design is inspired by the kabuto’s ‘pacsimile,’ and by reinterpreting the placket—which represents status, identity, and protection—it asserts a bold presence and individuality.

Additionally, the roof and fender decorations are decorated with designs reminiscent of lacquered small bills, expressing layered structures and precision in a modern way.

The wheelbase is equipped with shiny black 21/22-inch forged wheels and bronze brake calipers, while the exhaust tailpipe is matte black.

Design the “Soul of the Samurai”! Lamborghini announces 25 limited units in Japan: ‘Reverto Impavid’
On July 21, 2026, Automobili Lamborghini announced the Japan-exclusive model “Revuelto Impavido,” produced to commemorate Lamborghini Japan’s 25th anniversary.

Mazda3/CX-30 Adds ‘e-SkyactivG 2.5’ and Updates in Safety

This model is a bespoke Revuelt inspired by the Japanese spirit of Bushido. Lamborghini’s personalization program ‘Ad Personam’ is responsible for selling 25 units each with individual serial numbers.

The exterior is inspired by key elements of samurai armor and reinterpreted using Lamborghini’s design language. The sharp, sculptural lines extending from the door and rear bumper evoke the sword’s tachi stance, symbolizing precision, speed, and controlled power.

The gold accents seen throughout the body evoke the silk cord called odoshi, which connects armor kozane (kozane) symbolizing identity, class, and lineage.

The front front is inspired by the placket attached to samurai helmets, and the decorations on the roof and fender are inspired by the lacquered small placards that make up the armor. By reinterpreting them with modern forms and textures, he emphasized the composition, precision, and layered structure common to both samurai armor and revuelto styles.

Additionally, the Revuelto Impavid comes in four limited editions, each symbolizing a specific meaning derived from the samurai. The glossy versions include the “Verde Campus,” inspired by jade, and the “Grigio Artis Lucido,” inspired by swords symbolizing loyalty, honor, and superior craftsmanship.

The matte versions include the “Grigio Crater Matt,” derived from the black and gray samurai armor symbolizing boldness, protection, and authority, and the “Rosso Pyra,” inspired by Sanada’s red armor, evoking courage, strength, and discipline.

The glossy finish features accents from “Nero Noctis” and “Bronzo Oreadi,” while the matte finish includes details from “Nero Nemesis” and “Bronzo Serse,” with the exterior paint, livery and carbon fiber areas all finished in a common way.

The interior combines Nero Ade leather with Corsa Tex, featuring contrasting Bronzo Oreadi details, bespoke seat embroidery, door patterns, roof embroidery, the Samurai logo, and carbon fiber plates with individual numbers such as “1 di 25.”

Premium Divers Grand Seiko ‘Evolution 9 Collection’ That Achieves “Just the Right Balance” – BRUDER

What kind of image do you have of a diver’s watch? The impression should vary greatly depending on age and generation. In the watch industry, the ‘big thick’ boom arrived from the late 1990s to the mid-2010s. Among these trends, diver’s watches have become especially larger in size.

Models boasting high specs like 1000m water resistance, as well as models with case diameters over 45mm and case thicknesses over 20mm that pursue visual impact over practicality, have been released one after another by various manufacturers. Many products make you feel “only suitable for diving or marine resorts. It’s not practical for everyday use,” so for those interested in watches during this period, the image of “divers = big thick” may have become established.

However, extremes do not last long. First, the standard watch returned to the “under 40mm” size. The trend of sports and diver’s watches has also settled on practical sizes around 40mm, while not as much as the smaller dress watches.

As can be seen from the reissue models from various companies called “Retro Divers” mentioned in this column, before the “big-thick” boom, divers were not very large. By the mid-1990s, a subtle sporty look that matched chronographs and divers to suit styles was quietly spreading among some fashionistas.

This time, we introduce Grand Seiko’s new diver’s watch, the “Evolution 9 Collection Spring Drive U.F.A. Ushio 300 Diver,” which was just unveiled this spring at the Geneva Watch Fair. It is a piece that accurately captures contemporary trends while embodying Japanese aesthetics and technology, making it a quintessential piece for the company.

The dial is inspired by the magnificent ocean currents surrounding Japan, such as the Kuroshio and Oyashio currents. This detail symbolizes a quiet luxury design that conveys refined craftsmanship the more you look at it, without being overly assertive. Additionally, attention should be paid to the Spring Drive movement, which only Seiko has put into practical use. By combining the advantages of both mechanical and quartz systems with the latest caliber, it achieved an unprecedented high precision of ‘annual deviation (one-year accuracy deviation) of 20 seconds±’ for a diver.

Spring Drive Movement

Also, the slim size of 40.8mm case diameter and 12.9mm thickness, which goes beyond the trend of “big thickness,” is not to be missed. It uses Seiko’s proprietary material ‘Bright Titanium,’ which combines beautiful shine with lightweight design, and forms the case and bracelet. The bracelet features a newly developed “slide lock extender system” adjustment mechanism. Fine adjustments to fit can be easily made without tools.

The bracelet features a newly developed ‘slide lock extender system’

Among Grand Seiko’s world-renowned brands, this model is especially positioned as sporty. While offering hard specs that set it apart from so-called luxury sports, it delivers a light and comfortable fit comparable to a standard watch. This piece evokes the end of the “big-thick” boom and the subtle trends seen in the mid-1990s, making it a perfect choice for men who want to balance style and wellness.

Lamborghini launches 25th anniversary model in Japan: Limited edition of 25 ‘Revelto Impavid’ inspired by the spirit of Bushido – Car Watch

Lamborghini launches a limited edition of 25 units of the 25th anniversary model of the ‘Revelt Impavid’ in Japan

On July 21 (local time), Automobili Lamborghini announced the special edition “Revuelto Impavido,” a limited edition of 25 units in Japan, to commemorate Lamborghini Japan’s 25th anniversary.

Impavido means “fearless” or “brave” in Italian, originating from the spirit of Bushido and reflecting Lamborghini’s relentless pursuit of innovation, performance, and excellence. Additionally, the limited edition “Revelt Impavid” is inspired by the spirit of Bushido, a Japanese code of honor characterized by courage, discipline, and unwavering determination, serving as a model that pays tribute to the enduring relationship between Lamborghini and Japan.

Revelt Impavido

The colors inspired by samurai armor were reinterpreted in Lamborghini’s design language, and the sharp, sculptural lines on the doors and rear bumper evoked the movement of a sword, symbolizing precision, speed, and controlled power.

Additionally, the gold accents covering the entire body evoke the silk cord called ‘odoshi,’ the silk cord used to bind the plates of samurai armor, and traditionally expressed status, class, and a sense of belonging to the clan.

Revelt Impavido

The front end is inspired by the “maedate,” the emblem displayed on samurai helmet helmets, symbolizing status, identity, and protection. The front end, reinterpreted through Lamborghini’s design language, gives the vehicle a bold yet powerful presence, emphasizing both power and individuality.

The roof and fender decorations are inspired by the lacquered “kozane” used in samurai armor, and the kozane, reinterpreted with a modern form and texture, enhances the structure, precision, and layered feel common to samurai armor and Revelt architecture.

The Revelt Impavid comes in four specifications.

There are four versions in total: the glossy version is the “Verde Campus,” inspired by “jade,” Japan’s national stone symbolizing life, fertility, and the soul of the earth, and the “Grigio Artis Lucido,” inspired by swords as an expression of loyalty, honor, and skilled craftsmanship. Available in two colors.

The matte version comes in two colors: the “Grigio Crater Matt,” inspired by the black and gray samurai armor symbolizing fearlessness, spiritual protection, and authority, and the “Rosso Pyra,” inspired by Sanada Red, associated with courage, strength, and discipline.

The glossy version features accents from “Nero Noctis” and “Bronzo Oreadi,” while the matte version combines accents from “Nero Nemesis” and “Bronzo Serse.”

The Revelt Impavid is also equipped with exclusive shiny black Altanero 21-inch~22-inch forged rims, Bronzo brake calipers, and matte black exhaust tailpipes.

Revelt Impavide interior

The interior combines Nero Ade leather and Corsa Tex, featuring Bronzo Oreadi contrast details, custom seat embroidery, door patterns, roof embroidery, samurai logo, and a carbon fiber plate labeled “1 di 25” with serial numbers.

Interior of Revelt Impavid

Stefan Winckelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, stated, “The Leverto Impavid perfectly embodies Lamborghini’s ability to blend innovation with cultural inspiration. While the Revelt represents the future vision of super sports cars, the Impavid demonstrates how our ad persona program can elevate that vision into a unique expression of individuality and craftsmanship. Inspired by the spirit of Bushido, this project celebrates Italian excellence in design and the dialogue between Japanese culture, creating a vehicle that is unmistakably Lamborghini yet deeply rooted in the Japanese spirit. Through such collaborations, we continue to push the boundaries of personalization while staying true to the values that define our brand,” he said.

A carbon plate with a serial number is adorned

Additionally, Francesco Scardaoni, Lamborghini Asia Pacific Regional Director, stated, “Japan has played an indispensable role in Lamborghini’s growth over the past 25 years and is one of the most historic and passionate super sports car markets in the Asia-Pacific region. For Japan, which deeply understands Lamborghini’s V12 engine tradition, the Revelt The “Impavid” is a model fitting to symbolize the 25th anniversary of Lamborghini and Japan. As we celebrate this memorable year, we will continue to provide exceptional experiences and strive to build lasting relationships with our Japanese customers,” he commented.

Additionally, Paolo Sartori, President of Lamborghini Japan, said, “Impavido was created to celebrate the passion and loyalty of our Japanese customers. Limited to 25 units, the Revelt Impavid is each engraved with a serial number and is a unique presence on this special journey, inspired by Japanese craftsmanship, performance, and a commitment to individuality. We are honored to present this special edition in this memorable year for Lamborghini Japan. “We look forward to continuing to create unforgettable Lamborghini experiences together with our customers,” he said.
