The German watch brand NOMOS GLASHÜTTE has released a limited edition model of the Japan “Rudwig AOYAGI” based on the classic dress watch “Rudwig”.

This model is exclusive to the Japan market that combines Roman numeral indexes, railway minute tracks like railway rails, and leaf-shaped blue hands. The lineup will be available in two sizes: 33mm and 35mm.
The dial is enamel white, and the indexes and tracks are arranged in indigo. At the 5-minute position of the track, markers with the motif of a diamond, a traditional Japan pattern, are placed to enhance visibility and distinguishability.
In addition, the hands use classic leaf hands. The blue-baked finish ensures a clear contrast between the minute and hour hands. The curved needle shape is a composition that forms a neat expression while maintaining legibility as a dress watch.

All case materials are made of stainless steel. Ensure water resistance to 5 atm.
Inside, it is equipped with NOMOS’ in-house hand-wound movement “Cal.DUW4001”, which has a power reserve of 53 hours. The back pig uses a see-through back.
The “DUW4001” is designed to achieve both stable torque supply and accuracy, and is compatible with thin cases, with a case thickness of 6.6mm for size 33 and 6.7mm for size 35. In addition, the glass is made of crystal, which combines visibility and durability.
The size 33 is equipped with a beige vegan velor belt. The case diameter is 32.8mm, thickness 6.6mm, and lug width 17mm, making it a specification that emphasizes a light fit. The model is limited to 50 pieces in Japan and is priced at 281,600 yen.
On the other hand, the 35 size combines a brown belt from Horwin Shell Cordovan to create a classic impression. The case size is 35mm in diameter, 6.7mm thick, and 18mm lug width. Limited to Japan 70 bottles, the selling price is 365,200 yen.
Both models have the words “LUDWIG SONDERMODEL JAPAN” and the serial number engraved on the back pig. It also comes with a special sleeve case with an Aoyagi motif and a special cloth.
