One of the epochs not only in Timex but also in the history of watches is the IRONMAN 8-LAP, which was born in 1986.

It broke the stereotype of digital watches, which were dominated by “pitch black” at the time, and even achieved 100m water resistance while equipped with an 8-lap memory function with a front button.

The latest metal version of IRONMAN 8-LAP METAL was born from a conversation between the designers at the time and the Timex headquarters in the wake of the reissue of the original model in 1986, which was realized as a project in Japan.

While retaining the design and operability of the masterpiece, the case, top ring and pushers have all been upgraded to stainless steel.

In order to guarantee waterproofness, the molds for the case and parts were remade from scratch, and the structure of the back cover was also revamped for this model.

There are three colors to be developed.

This model features a bond to motorsports and a design reminiscent of Japan’s color code, and will be available in a limited edition of 240 pieces.

This model celebrates the tranquil beauty of red and white, which evokes the traditional colors of Japan. The number “24” boldly engraved at the 12 o’clock position and on the caseback expresses Japan’s sense of time and emotion, recalling the 24 hours of the day and the 24 seasons of the four seasons.
