“── Your own Wesco to someone else’s Wesco”.
What is “YOUR WESCO” that WESCO started last year? Introducing the brand’s history of more than 100 years and the “essence of value” of boots, a product recycling service.
First of all, the concept of this project is clear.
“── Your own Wesco to someone else’s Wesco”.
Wesco boots are not just “shoes”. The robustness that can be worn for decades and the beauty that increases over time. Its style, which reflects the life of the person wearing it, is no longer close to a “work”. However, even the toughest boots can end up sleeping in the closet due to changes in the owner’s lifestyle, size problems, and changes in taste. Wesco carefully repairs and refines it himself and delivers it to the next owner. This quality assurance is the foundation of “YOUR WESCO”.
First, let’s introduce “Job Master 1st” as a good example. This is a 100th anniversary model, and the wooden mold used is based on the “No.5 Last”, a wooden mold from half a century ago that was accidentally discovered in the back of the underground warehouse of Wesco’s headquarters. The width of the foot (wise) is slightly narrower than that of the existing last, and the unique shape of the toe is curved, which increases its rarity.

A place where you can reopen with masterpiece models and limited edition models.
The “YOUR WESCO” project is a place where you can rediscover classic and limited edition models that were sold in the past. I would like to summarize its appeal again.
First of all, “Reunion with a rare model”. There is a high possibility that models that are normally difficult to obtain, such as the 100th anniversary model and limited color patterns that have already been discontinued, will also be distributed, and it is also a chance to get your hands on the gems of the past again.
Also, “Reproduction by the hands of craftsmen”. At the factory of Wesco Japan, experienced craftsmen maintain each pair. Therefore, the biggest attraction is that it is not just used, but revived as “boots that have been brought to life again”.
And “Creation of Circular Value”. It is not “disposable” but an initiative to foster a boot culture that is “inherited”. If you recognize that it is a service that allows you to rediscover the preciousness of long-term use and the value of valuing things, the value of use will suddenly increase.
If you look at successive Wesco models from these perspectives, you can encounter models with high rarity and value. This is known as a rare pair called “Century Boss” and was announced in 2016 as a 100th anniversary model.
This anniversary model uses only Polish extra-thick horsehide, making it the first “all-horsehide boot” in Wesco’s history.

Style and personality that cannot be obtained with a new one.
“YOUR WESCO” is a used and consignment sales service by authorized distributors that connects the time and stories engraved on WESCO boots to the next owner. The more you wear the boots, the more you wear the unique expression of the leather, such as the color and texture, wrinkles and rubbing, and reflect the person’s way of life. The boots, which embody Wesco’s philosophy of “the existence of a lifetime,” have a style and personality that cannot be obtained with a new one.
For example, this “Goat Skin Boss” is also a pair that has acquired a dignified style and personality depending on the user.
The Goat Skin Boss, which appeared in limited quantities in the Japan market in 2015, has a special specification that has gained popularity due to its fringe-like 5-inch long top strap, which was not usually available for custom at the time, which had a big impact. In addition, the sole was originally chosen for a white sole, but by changing to black, the overall sole, it has been tightened and evolved into a more fearless impression.
At “YOUR WESCO”, all boots are sold through official channels, and professional staff evaluate and grant guarantees to eliminate concerns about authenticity and quality. Although it is used, it provides reliable peace of mind and value, so it functions as a place for users who want to let go of their boots to properly evaluate them and entrust them to new owners. It can be said that it is a place where “story inheritance” is realized beyond mere transactions.
