Fender Music (hereinafter referred to as “Fender”) has started selling a limited edition model of Made in Japan called “Made in Japan Limited Raw Ash”. The estimated market selling price is from 176,000 yen.
The “Made in Japan Limited Raw Ash” is a Japan limited edition model that uses ash wood for the body and uses an “open pore finish (paint that does not fill the conduit)” that takes advantage of the original texture of wood. The lineup includes three models: the Telecaster, the Stratocaster, and the Jazz Bass, each available in three colors: 3-Color Sunburst, Black, and Vintage Natural.
These models, which can feel the characteristic grain of ash wood, are based on the “Made in Japan Hybrid II Series” and are designed for players who prefer a more diverse sound by customizing specifications such as pickups and frets.
In addition to the open-pore body finish, the satin-finished neck, medium jumbo frets, and modern “C” shape maple neck with 9.5-inch radius fingerboard provide comfortable playability that prevents fatigue even during long periods of playing. In addition, all models are equipped with US-made fender pickups, which produce a rich and deep single-coil sound.
