On March 30, Maserati will set a Japanese special limited car “Nero Infinito” as a hybrid model of the sports sedan “Ghibli” and SUV “Levante”, and will release it only for 24 units each.
“Nero Infinito” is an Italian word meaning “forever black” or “jet black”. The special limited edition car is a model that pursues the charm of “black” that Japanese people have been familiar with since ancient times.
In the exterior design, the C-pillar emblem has been changed to Modena black. In addition, the silver side GT badge and the letters “Maserati” and “Levante / Ghibli” engraved on the rear gate are also coordinated in a special black. At the bottom of the B-pillar, a tricolore stripe that symbolizes “Made in Italy” is placed as an accent. It has a strong presence in contrast to the black body.
Limited cars are set for the new generation mild hybrid models “Ghibli GT” and “Levante GT”. The hybrid system achieves almost the same performance as the V6’s 350ps, such as achieving a maximum output of 330ps while reducing fuel consumption by 18%.
The price is 14.3 million yen for the Ghibli GT Nero Infinite and 15.8 million yen for the Levante GT Nero Infinite. Delivery is scheduled to be around June at the earliest.
