For the first time as an ANCORA-limited fountain pen, the Professional Gear Slim Fountain Pen with a “paper cutout” motif is now available. The paper cutout design created by Naofumi Hama, who is active as a three-dimensional paper cutout artist, has been reproduced on the body using delicate printing technology.
The main body color is available in two types: silver/white and gold/black. The smooth 14K nib is designed with an illustration of a flower and a butterfly, and the lid stopper decoration is decorated with cherry blossoms in a different foil. You can choose from three character widths: F (fine print) / MF (medium fine print) / M (medium character).
Naofumi Hama’s comment: “I designed it with the hope of creating a world of small plants and flowers in a fountain pen, and I was conscious of the ‘flow’ of life force from the bottom to the top, and I packed the concept of ‘improbable’ that I value when creating three-dimensional paper cutout works with a world view that is impossible in reality, where many kinds of plants and flowers bloom from a single stem.”

Naofumi Hama began his career as a self-taught writer in 2012.
In addition to two-dimensional paper cutting, he devised a new style called “three-dimensional paper cutting”.
He has created new works that have never been seen before, such as “Sakura Kingyo”, which is one of his representative works, using a method called “curved three-dimensional paper cutting”, in which he makes his own curved surface and cuts it out.
He has also appeared in many TV programs and is active in various media. He has published four practical books, including the book “Three-dimensional paper cutouts of Naofumi Hama” (published by Kawade Shobo Shinsha).
