From the “Union Square Watch Collection” of “Tiffany & Co.”, a limited edition model in Japan has been released. The quantity will be limited to only 100 pieces. It is said that it will be handled at the Ginza main store.
The “Union Square Watch” originated from the location of Tiffany & Co.’s former flagship store located in downtown Manhattan for about 35 years from 1870, decades after its founding. It is a watch that pays homage to the former Union Square store.
The model is handcrafted by skilled Swiss craftsmen and features a square-shaped case inspired by Tiffany & Co.’s past achievements.
Also, if you look closely, you can see that “7–1–7” is placed at 5 o’clock, 6 o’clock, and 7 o’clock on the dial. This indicates the address of the Tiffany & Co. Ginza main store, the flagship store in Japan (Ginza 2-7-17).
Featuring 18-carat yellow gold and a T-shaped buckle with a brown alligator belt and a Tiffany Blue crown, the design captures the cityscape and skyscrapers of New York City. In addition, the back pig is engraved with the words Limited Edition. The selling price will be 2,530,000 yen.
