“Tiffany & Co.” announces a new watch from the Tiffany Eternity Watch Collection limited to Japan. This cushion-shaped watch, which mimics the cut of a gemstone, is a design that symbolizes Tiffany & Co. heritage.
The mother-of-pearl indexes feature a different shape of diamond set to mark the time, and at 6 o’clock is the brand’s iconic yellow diamond.
The dial with sparkling diamonds is said to be inspired by Tiffany & Co. advertising visuals from the 1960s and 70s.
Inspired by the Tiffany® setting engagement ring, the diamonds on the crown are set with six prongs to highlight the brilliance of the diamonds surrounding the case. Swiss artisans spend more than 13 hours manually assembling and setting the diamonds.
The black calf belt contrasts with the 18-carat white gold case and features a diamond-set buckle. The design and construction of the details are also a tribute to Tiffany & Co.’s heritage. The limited quantity is 50 pieces, and the selling price is 5,885,000 yen.
