Breguet has reopened its flagship store in Japan, Breguet Boutique Ginza. Located on the third floor of the Nicholas G. Hayek Center in Ginza, Tokyo, Breguet Boutique Ginza offers a wide range of collections, making it a boutique worthy of a flagship store in Japan. In addition, to commemorate the reopening, two Japan limited models from the “Marine” collection will appear.
The new Breguet Boutique Ginza occupies the entire third floor
When you enter the boutique, you will see a manual guilloché lathe, a symbol of Breguet craftsmanship. The guilloché lathe was built in the late 1800s and is still in good working order after repairs by a specialist department at Breguet’s headquarters. The company has the largest guilloché division in the watch industry. For Breguet, perpetuating this art is essential, and it’s worth seeing one of the iconic old guilloché lathes in a Ginza boutique in Japan.
Breguet details are reproduced in the interior
Breguet’s signature elements are seamlessly incorporated into the store, such as the furniture design reminiscent of the flute decoration of the case band, the carpet reminiscent of guilloché decoration, and the delicate touch of Breguet Blue that adorns the entire boutique.
VIP Lounge
All the elements in the boutique, including materials such as American walnut and marble, have been carefully selected by the design team at the company’s Swiss headquarters. There is also a VIP lounge, where visitors can enjoy communicating with the staff while slowly browsing the products.
Marine’s first Japan limited edition model is now available
The new model is made in white gold and features a black dial with a guilloché wave motif hand-applied by hand at the Manufacture and a silver-finished chapter ring. Of course, the limited number of the 25 bottles is engraved on the caseback as “**/25”.
In addition, to commemorate the reopening of the Breguet boutique Ginza, two models of Breguet’s sporty watch “Marine” collection, which is also popular in Japan, have appeared in two models with a three-hand and a chronograph mechanism and a black dial limited edition model in Japan. Limited edition models of 50 pieces, 25 pieces each, will be sold only at four directly managed stores of the brand in Japan (Breguet Boutique Ginza, Breguet Boutique Isetan Shinjuku, Breguet Boutique Japan Bridge Mitsukoshi Main Store, and Breguet Boutique Hankyu Umeda Main Store).
