Hublot has unveiled a limited edition Japan model: the Big Bang Unico Carbon Sky Blue. With the iconic Big Bang Unico with a lightweight and unique carbon fibre case and bezel, this model combines sportiness with a glamorous presence. Hublot watchmaking techniques, stylish blue and black contrasts and the materials used for the case and strap are all a combination of their characteristics. Embodying the brand concept “Art of Fusion” (fusion of different materials and ideas), this precious timepiece is limited to 100 pieces.
Big Bang Unico Carbon Sky Blue
The case, caseback and bezel are made of matte sky blue carbon with a sky blue composite of carbon fiber. When creating the case material, a nonwoven fabric (NWF) formed by microfiber is impregnated with carbon fiber using epoxy resin, which is then placed in a special mold to manufacture the prototype of the case.
The unique patterns of black and sky blue occur naturally in the process of material generation, so the same pattern will never appear. Each one looks different, so each is a one-of-a-kind timepiece.
This model is the second in the Japan limited edition Big Bang Unico Carbon White, which was launched in 2022 and was well received. The combination of a refreshing blue evoking a bright skyless sky and Hublot’s signature black colour was used for the first time in the Big Bang Unico.

The dial, indexes, indials, and hands are unified in black, giving a chic impression that contrasts with the light sky blue. It is also equipped with the Unico chronograph movement, developed and manufactured in-house with approximately 72 hours of power resale and flyback function, and its structure can be seen from the dial and caseback.
The Big Bang Unico Carbon Sky Blue combines a unique carbon case with a rubber strap with Sky Blue and black lines, plus a black Velcro strap. Thanks to the patented “one-click” system, you can easily change the strap and enjoy it according to your mood and fashion.
