Dyson Hair Care Announces Japan Limited Edition Dyson Supersonic Shine |

Dyson Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo: Peter Smith, President & CEO, hereinafter referred to as “Dyson”) has introduced a limited edition Dyson Supersonic Shine hair dryer Japan. The new model has three attachments, including a newly developed “gloss tool”. Professional stylists use a brush and dryer to achieve the ideal “glossy hair” for many people, but it is a difficult technique to practice on their own at home. The Gloss Tool is the first brush attachment developed for the Dyson Supersonic range. Inspired by the Dyson Airwrap™ Multistyler’s Smoothing Brush, one of the attachments. Powered by Dyson’s V9 digital motor, high-pressure airflow creates precisely angled airflow for shiny, smooth hair. After straightening the hair with the “smooth brush mode”, switch to the “floating hair suppression mode” that uses an airflow phenomenon called the Coanda effect. The Coanda effect is a phenomenon in which airflow adheres to a surface due to the pressure difference that occurs when a high-speed jet stream flows over a surface. This airflow pulls your long hair toward you, hiding the floating hairs inside the hair and making it cohesive.

■ The smooth brush mode uses the Coanda effect to draw hair to the brush surface, while suppressing waviness and smoothing it.

■ Floating hair inhibition mode pulls long hair towards you with the force of the wind, hides the floating hair inside the hair, and makes the hair cohesive.

Gentle and quick-drying hair dryer
The Dyson Supersonic Shine hair dryer measures the air temperature 20 times per second and controls the set temperature so that the temperature does not continue to rise during use. In addition, wearing the included low-temperature tool reduces the air temperature by up to 20 degrees* and dries your hair with a gentle breeze. It protects against hair damage such as dullness and brittleness of hair that can occur due to high temperatures and hair color fading.
