  • I had almost given up hope of getting ticket to a very special show in Tokyo that is scheduled to open just a couple of weeks away. No other buying service would help me out because of how performance tickets are sold in Japan.

    I tried Tenso, Buyee … forget it – they suck and their services are far too limited.

    Then, I found Ninja J, and I have only one thing to say – Ninja J, YOU ARE THE STAR!! You have won my confidence and respect, I will not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone who needs help to acquire something from Japan.

    Thanks to you, I am now able to see my favourite taishu engeki star in his troupe’s last performances before they disband at the end of February 2014. I never, never thought it would be possible because it’s impossible for someone living outside of Japan to buy a ticket to a show. You have made my dream come true and I am eternally grateful for your efficient and professional service.

    I especially appreciate that you made the effort to check which days had better seats – this level of personal care and service is rare and worth every penny of your service charge.

    I also appreciate the effort you had to make to rush the ticket to me because I know that for this type of show, at least, you have to collect the ticket from a convenience store – and you did that, plus sent it off to me on a Sunday, no less.

    I will be writing to you again upon my return from Japan as I have a couple of other things that you may be able to help me with.

    To be honest, I was skeptical even about the promise of a response within 24 hours. My goodness, you knocked my socks off! Keep up the terrific work!

  • Really great service! Email replies to enquiries came within the hour and everything was explained very well. I particularly liked the fact that the fee is charged as a percentage of the price of the item, and was very reasonable! I’ve seen other JP shoppers who charge as percentage of the weight, but how often would you know the weight of what you are buying?

    I needed to get about half a year’s supply of Fancl face lotions and cleansers, and because Fancl doesn’t operate in the UK (where I’m located right now) I would have wanted to buy it from the JP website. Unfortunately apparently Fancl.jp doesn’t allow shipping to PO boxes or warehouses. But Personal Shopper J is registered as a personal address so there were no issues there! I also had quite a complicated order with different quantities of different things, but Personal Shopper J managed it with no fuss and the items were shipped really quickly! I’ll definitely use them again!

  • I really wanted a Smiling Edea plush from the Square Enix Japan eStore, but they only ship to addresses in Japan. I checked import sites and eBay, but no one was offering the plush for sale. Then I found out about Personal Shopper Japan while doing a Google search, and decided to try it.

    The rate that Personal Shopper offers is pretty exceptional! I also contacted a Japanese eBay store to help me get the same item, and they offered to sell it for $99 + shipping. With Personal Shopper, I only had to pay the minimum 1,000 JPY fee (+small Paypal fee) along with the cost of the plush. Minus shipping costs, I paid about $62.

    The plush sold out on the same day of its release, so I was very, very impressed that they were able to get one for me. The shipping was very reasonable, and the plush was repacked very nicely. It came with a tracking number, and it arrived quickly. If it wasn’t for this service, there’s a chance that I would have no way of getting this plush. I am very happy to have it! n_n

    When the next plush in this series comes out, I am definitely using Personal Shopper Japan again. Thank you!
