On August 7, 2023, Jaguar Land Rover Japan announced that it will launch a Japan-limited special edition “EASTNOR DARK EDITION” for the full-scale cross-country model “Defender 110” and start accepting orders on the same day.
The Defender Easner Dark Edition is a special edition car that was developed in-house Japan It is the second installment following the “Easner Edition” released in April 2023. Easner is a town located about 200km northwest of London and is home to about 5,000 acres of the Land Rover Experience Centre. The company tests the performance of its vehicles on a daily basis and describes it as “a sacred place where Land Rovers can drive through all terrains.”
The latest Easner Dark Edition is based on the Defender 110 SE P300 and features a black pack and 22-inch alloy wheels (gloss black). By unifying the details in black, it is finished with a more fearless look.
The exterior color is available in two colors, “Santorini Black” and “Eiger Gray”, and the satin protective film increases durability. The former will be sold in a limited number of 130 units and the latter in a limited number of 40 units.
In the interior, the use of grain leather seats is eye-catching. Equipped with a cold climate pack and a Wi-Fi data pack as standard, it provides a modern, luxurious, and comfortable interior space.
