King Seiko VANAC PEANUTS 75th Anniversary Limited Edition
“PEANUTS” began serialization in the United States in 1950. Through adorable characters such as Snoopy and Woodstock, it is a popular comic that has long been popular around the world.
On the dial, Snoopy, who has become “Joe Cool”, appears in sunglasses and a crown, and his best friend Woodstock also appears. The crown motif symbolizes the brand’s “king” and is designed with a playful touch.
In addition, the background is decorated with a horizontal pattern of stamping patterns reminiscent of newspapers.
The case is 41mm in size. The material is stainless steel with a multi-faceted cut typical of VANAC. The form, which excludes the bezel, gives off a box-shaped sapphire crystal windshield.
And on the back pig, a scene from the comic is reproduced with multi-color printing. There are also adorable appearances of Snoopy and Woodstock, as well as a commemorative message that reads “HAPPINESS IS 75 YEARS OF PEANUTS”. In addition, the design tickles the hearts of fans, such as engraved with the words “LIMITED EDITION”, which reproduces the font of the original author Charles M. Schultz.
The movement is equipped with the brand’s newly developed automatic caliber “8L45”. It achieves a high accuracy of +10 seconds ~ -5 seconds per day and a power reserve of about 72 hours. It boasts stable accuracy for a long time.
And this time, a storage box designed with the “PEANUTS” 75th anniversary logo is also included. The selling price is 495,000 yen. It will be limited to 150 films in Japan.
