On July 22, 2026 (local time), Automobili Lamborghini announced the Japan-exclusive edition “Impavido,” based on its flagship V12 engine model “Revuelto.”
The Reverto Impavid is sold as a Japan-exclusive edition commemorating Lamborghini Japan’s 25th anniversary, with 25 units each individually numbered. Adpersonam, the bespoke division, handles customization, embodying Lamborghini’s relentless pursuit of innovation, performance, and excellence. The name ‘Impavido’ means ‘fearless’ or ‘brave’ in Italian, and it is explained that it was inspired by the spirit of Bushido.
At Reverto Impavid, the key elements of samurai armor are reinterpreted using Lamborghini’s design language. The sharp, sculptural lines on the doors and rear bumper evoke the sword’s sword-like arc, symbolizing precision, speed, and controlled power. The gold accents seen throughout the body evoke the silk cord called ‘odoshi’ (縅), a cord used to connect the small armor badges (kozane) that represented identity, class, and lineage. The front front was inspired by the placket attached to samurai helmet plates, and the decorations on the roof and fender were inspired by the lacquered kozan that make up the armor.
This model comes in four specifications, each symbolizing a specific meaning derived from samurai. The glossy version is Japan’s national gemstone, and there are two types: the “Verde Campus,” inspired by jade symbolizing life, fertility, and the soul of the earth, and the “Grigio Artis Lucido,” inspired by swords symbolizing loyalty, honor, and excellent craftsmanship. The mat versions include the “Grigio Crater Matt,” derived from the black and gray samurai armor symbolizing boldness, protection, and authority, and the “Rosso Pyra,” inspired by Sanada’s red armor, evoking bravery, strength, and discipline. The glossy finish features accents from “Nero Noctis” and “Bronzo Oreadi,” while the matte finish incorporates details from “Nero Nemesis” and “Bronzo Serse,” with the exterior paint, livery and carbon fiber areas all finished in a common way.
Additionally, the exterior features shiny black 21-inch/22-inch forged wheels “Altanero,” bronze-colored brake calipers, and matte black tailpipes; the interior features “Nero Ade” leather and “Corsa Tex” contrasting “Bronzo Oreadi” details, bespoke seat embroidery, It is characterized by door patterns, roof embroidery, samurai logos, and carbon fiber plates with individual numbers such as “1 di 25.”
