Elegantly summarized new Japan-only “Navitimer”

Breitling “Navitimer Automatic GMT 41 Japan Limited” Ref.R323101A1B1P1
Available only in Japan, the elegant “Navitimer” combines an 18K red gold case with a black dial. It does not have a chronograph and is based on the GMT model. Automatic winding (Cal. Breitling 32). 21 stone. 28,800 vibrations per hour. Power reserve approx. 42 hours. 18KRG case (diameter 41mm, thickness 11.65mm). 3 ATM water resistance. Limited to 50 pieces in Japan. 2,365,000 yen (tax included).
The dial is an elegant black color. When you think of a navitimer, you have a strong impression of a chronograph, but this one is based on a model that has been discontinued and features a clean design with no in-dial. The iconic aviation rotation slide rule is still alive and well, and calculations can be easily performed by rotating the bezel. By combining the slightly centered 24-hour display with an arrow-shaped GMT hand, it is also possible to read the second time zone. A date display is placed at 6 o’clock, which is convenient for daily use.
The 41mm diameter 18K red gold case is polished and finished with a hairline to give it a crisp look. The sharp rugs that stretch thin give a sense of delicacy and can be worn like a dress watch.
The aviation rotation slide rule, which symbolizes the navigation timer, is a convenient function that allows you to perform calculations just by rotating the bezel. The dressy design is also attractive, such as clean lugs and thin bezels.
The strap is made of black alligator leather. The white stitching is an accent. The classic pin buckle also matches the atmosphere of this work.
The movement uses the Cal. Breitling 32, which is based on a general-purpose machine. Since it is a solid back, you cannot admire the movement directly, but the words “ONE OF 50” are engraved on the outer circumference of the caseback, giving you a special feeling unique to a limited edition model.
