A tree reborn together with a historic factory
“Fountain Pen Commemorating the Completion of the Hiroshima Factory”
December 10, 2022 (Sat) Limited quantity release
Sailor Fountain Pen (President: Katsuya Machi, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) will release a fountain pen commemorating the completion of the Hiroshima Factory from December 10, 2022 (Saturday) at Sailor fountain pen product dealers in Japan and overseas. The book (domestic only) will be on sale for a limited time.
■About the “Hiroshima Factory Completion Commemorative Fountain Pen”
The factory in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, where Sailor Fountain Pen was founded, will be rebuilt and will be completed in the fall of 2022.
Some of the former factory buildings were built more than 70 years ago, and the trees on the premises have a long history.
This product commemorates the completion of the new factory.
The one and only fountain pen with different wood grains. The factory building in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture will be moved to a new building, and the trees on the factory premises will be turned into fountain pens.
Together, we will complete our respective roles and be reborn, carving a new history from the place of our founding.
