Seiko will release two models from the “Seiko Astron Nexter” series in limited quantities designed with the team colors of Shohei Otani, the brand’s image character, and his team, the Los Mr./Ms. Zels Dodgers. It will be released on September 7 only in Japan.
The “Seiko Astron” inherited its name from the quartz watch “Quartz Astron”, which Seiko released for the first time in the world in 1969. Among them, the Nexter series was released as a model that is close to the “next generation of leaders” who have a strong will and a spirit of harmony, and is popular for its advanced technology and sophisticated design.

The dial of the “SBXC165” sold to the general public is based on black and has a vertical stripe stamping pattern. Three sub-dials are arranged. The “17” designed on the subdial at 9 o’clock uses the same typeface as the uniform. The center of the belt and bezel are decorated with blue ceramics, and the seconds hand and sub-dial hands are decorated with red, which is also used in the team logo. The selling price is 440,000 yen.

Both of them will have Ohtani’s latest version of his signature and serial number on the back of the pig. The special box is also signed by Ohtani.
