LVMH Watches & Jewelry Japan has announced a Japan limited model “TAG Heuer Carrera Caliber Heuer 02 Chronograph Japan Limited Edition” in the watch brand “TAG Heuer”. It is a mechanical wristwatch and the price is 726,000 yen. Quantity is 300 in Japan only.
TAG Heuer released a Japan-only model in conjunction with the relocation of its flagship store in June. Because it was well received, this model will be prepared as the second version. The first version featured a strong red accent color, but the second features a combination of black and gold with the motif of ancient Japanese armor. A modern interpretation of gold is finished in rose gold. The case diameter is 42mm.
The dial has a black sunray finish. The chronograph counters at 3 and 9 o’clock and the small seconds at 6 o’clock are lacquered in rose gold color. The hour and minute hands, chronograph hands, applied indexes, and TAG Heuer logo are plated with rose gold, and the letters “Carrera Heuer 02 80 Hours” near the 6 o’clock position on the dial are also printed in rose gold.
The movement is mechanical and equipped with a self-winding chronograph movement “Heuer 02”. It is decorated with Côtes de Genève decoration and can be viewed through the see-through sapphire glass back of the case back. The rotor is made of rose gold, which is reminiscent of the metal used in helmets. Power reserve is about 80 hours.
The case and bracelet are made of stainless steel. The windshield is a domed sapphire crystal. Waterproof performance is 10 ATM water resistant. The case diameter is 42mm.
