From the top left is the Spider Tour Truss (TM1, TM2, Ice Mint), and from the bottom left is the Spider Tour X Truss (TM1, TM2). “Spider Tour Z Truss”
TaylorMade Golf (Headquarters, Koto-ku, Tokyo) will release the “Spider Tour Truss” series, a Japan-only model on March 8, which combines a spider that produces a high moment of inertia with a truss structure that suppresses twisting of the face in the event of a mishit.
A total of six models are available in the lineup: the Spider Tour Truss (TM1/TM2/Ice Mint), the Spider Tour X Truss (TM1/TM2), and the Spider Tour Z Truss. The TM1 has a hosel designed closer to the heel to reduce push mistakes, while the TM2 is positioned in the center to cover hook mistakes.
While retaining the Spyder’s unique “medium-light outer weight” head structure, the lightweight “carbon composite truss hosel” is combined to design an appropriate center of gravity position for each model. A vibration absorber called “HYBRAR ECHO” is mounted on the back of the face to suppress unpleasant vibrations and create a comfortable feel and sound.
The color is unified in black from the neck to the body, and the truss hosel, which was glued as an afterthought until the previous “Spider GT Truss” series, adopts a new structure that is integrated with the body. The hosel, which was slightly behind the face surface, is now positioned on the face (on the extension of the face), giving it a clean appearance and making it easy to hold, supporting natural strokes.
Lengths are 33 and 34 inches (*32 and 33 inches are available only for ice mint). The price including tax is 50,600 yen. For inquiries, please contact TaylorMade Golf Customer Service Call (0570-019-079).
