NOMOS Glashütte has released a new Japan-only model “Tangente Neomatic Rose Gold” (1,595,000 yen, tax included). The brand’s iconic model wears the graceful sparkle of 18k rose gold for the first time and attracts envy from around the world.

For 30 years since its birth in 1992, NOMOS Glashütte’s iconic piece “Tangente” has reigned as a model representing the brand. The design, which skillfully combines a regular circle, right angle, and straight line, is reminiscent of the tradition of the German Bauhaus.

With Arabic numerals and bar indexes with distinctive typography, ultra-fine hour and minute hands and well-balanced sub-dials, the harmonious design makes it a timeless bestseller.

The clean appearance suits the sensibilities of Japan people, but the Tangente Neomatic Rose Gold (1,595,000 yen, including tax) announced this summer is a special model specially created for fans of such Japan. It is a luxurious timepiece that retains the design of the basic 35mm regular model, but the material of the round case has been replaced from stainless steel to 18k rose gold.

The luxurious 18K case doesn’t look too glamorous thanks to the clean design

Tangento has a wide variety of models from sporty to pretty women’s models, but surprisingly, this model is the first to use 18k rose gold.

The slim size with a diameter of 35 mm and a thickness of 6.9 mm, a white-silver dial, and an ultra-fine hour and minute hand finished in blue ware follow the tradition of 30 years. On the other hand, instead of the usual black, I chose brown to match the color tone of the case. The strap is also brown Horween shell cordovan to emphasize the classic impression.

The movement uses the popular in-house DUW3001 self-winding calibre. The carefully finished decoration can be admired from the caseback, and the words “Limited Edition For Japan” and serial number are beautifully engraved around it as a testament to the limited edition model.

While wearing the sparkle of rose gold all over the surface, it has a calm appearance without becoming glamorous and fits in your hand because of the cleanliness that tangents have. The rare limited edition model, which is limited to Japan and produced only 20 pieces, is sure to attract envy from all over the world.

Since its launch in 1992, Tangent has gained support as an iconic piece representing NOMOS. The Tangente Neomatic Rose Gold, which will be released this summer, is a special edition limited to Japan based on the masterpiece Tangente. Tangento’s first 18-carat rose gold case, newly produced for this model, is adopted, and the design that combines sophisticated modeling and luxury creates a special feeling typical of a limited edition model. It features NOMOS’ traditional silver-finished dial, gentle brown indexes, and classic blue-baked hands, which, combined with the ornate rose gold case, give it a neat look yet soft and ephemeral elegance.

The movement is equipped with the thin and high-performance neomatic calibre DUW3001, which achieves slim proportions that make it hard to believe that it is self-winding. The strap is finished with a Horween shell cordovan sewn back and gives a sophisticated impression.

It is a 35mm size that can be used by both men and women as a dress watch, and the price including tax is 1,595,000 yen. It is a limited release of only 20 Japan pieces.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the TAG Heuer Carrera, TAG Heuer unveiled a limited edition Japan TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Japan Limited Edition. It is scheduled to be released in July 2023.

Based on the sporty and elegant popular model “TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph”, this “TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Japan Limited Edition” is this time. The light blue mother-of-pearl dial and indigo chronograph hour and minute counter beautifully complement the entire dial with the color scheme and contrast that Japan people like. The price is 830,500 yen for the breath specification and 803,000 yen for the leather belt specification.

As expected! I always make exclamation points. Above all, the taste is excellent and I admire the skillfully calculated design. The new travel watch combines an urban design with an integrated case and bracelet with GMT functionality, this time with a refreshing sky blue tint. The Japan limited edition model with the same design but amber dial was also good, but the new sky blue brought the watch’s travel theme even closer. When you see it, you want to wear it and go on an air trip, and you can fantasize about yourself as a traveler – isn’t it fun? It is a watch that seems to have seen through the travel spirit revived after corona, but I wonder if Bell & Ross is also the secret to seeing through people’s psychology and swaying their feelings.

This is the latest edition of a model in collaboration with two companies, Deus Ex Machina and Triumph Motorcycles, and reflects the achievements of its predecessor, which sold out in the blink of an eye, and the two new models are equipped with Breitling’s signature Manufacture Calibre 01.

Teaming up with Deus Ex Machina, the Top Time Deus has a distinctive presence with a black dial, three white sub-dials, a tachymeter scale, contrasting livery and an inazuma central chronograph seconds hand. In addition, the open case back of sapphire crystal with the Deus logo in the center is a specification unique to the collaboration model.
